"WASHINGTON (June 28) - President Bush said he will undergo a colon check Saturday that will require him to be sedated. The powers of the presidency will be briefly transferred to Vice President Dick Cheney, he said."

I don't know what's scarier, Bush's colon being a top nws story, or Cheney in control, officially.

In other news, school is almost done! June 26th is my last day! Woo Hoo! Been trying to get shit together for the band. We're tryng to get some new tunes written. We went to one club asking about booking and he said he wanted us to play an hour, which just is not possible for us right now since we only have 5 songs, so we're gonna try and get it together so we can play there at the end of July. Should be cool.

I talked to my neighbor the other day, gonna work with him in the mornings, doing the carpet gig again, then work Costco at night. Yee-Haw! Should be fun! Actually I just want to save up some money, take a trip somwhere. Originaly the plan was to hit up the chicago and alpine shows, but looks like things are changing, not sure what's up with that shit now. I'm definately going somewhere though, or buying myself a new TV, VCR and DVD player. Although I think I'd rather take a trip, we'll see what happens.

after work is still a mystery to me. Jonie called me yesterday, incredibly random, said she's going to come by Costco to say hi to everyone, then asked if I wanted to go get some coffee with her after I get off. I said sure, but she's a BIG time flake, so who knows...

My friend Bia is having a party tonight too, I want to go up and see her for a bit, definately going to stop by and say hello at the very least. I also need to jam over to Oakland and pick up my drumset! We're recording tomorow, I cannot wait! VERY VERY EXCITED. Should have it all mixed and ready to go by the 22nd. I'll let everyone know so I can send out copies.

So I've given up on trying to remember the events of shoreline and memorial day weekend. I'm lazy and forgetful, but yeah they were good weekends. VERY good weekends. This weekend, going into the studio at school. We're going to record our five songs, hope to have it done by next weekend. Should be cool. I just bought a domain name for the band. Keep an eye out for www.stagnantband.com should be up and running in the next week or so, (hopefully.) Also http://www.mp3.com/Stagnant but that's not up yet either, right now our song is in the "approval stage." Basicalyl mp3.com has to go through and listen to the song, make sure it's ok and that there is not any copyrighted material in there, should be approved by the middle or end of next week.
