So here I am, 9:15am on friday. What am I doing awake at this hour you ask? Let me tell you...

My car is sick. =(

I don't know what's wrong, neither does my dad, so we had to take it into the shop this morning. Early this morning, I had to get up at 7:00! YUCK! I just hope my car is ok, and it doesn't cost a lot to fix it. I need a car, it's not a question of want, it's need. Without it I cannot be in the band, or go to school, and once everyone goes back to school, I can forget a social life as well. It shouldn't be too bad though, gotta stay positive!

So Gorge is a month away. I really want to go, I'm pretty sure I can afford it too. I've been doing really good with money lately. I didn't spend all of my last paycheck, I get paid today, last week I put money in the savings account for the first time in 6 months, it's back up to 95 bucks (woo hoo!) Capitol One just raised my credit limit too, to $1000, however they left the interest at 19.8% so I won't be going crazy with that. I always pay that thing off every month, just need to establish some good credit before I can get a better card. Anyways, yeah, with the exception of my car needing to be fixed, I've been doing really good about saving money lately. Which is why I'm still considering Gorge!

Now to get to the Gorge you either fly into Seattle or Spokane, then drive 2-3 hours to the Gorge. However, I'm not 25, so for me to rent a car would be way too expensive. I'm thinking road trip will be MUCH better. Here's how I see it:

Wednesday September 4: Leave the bay area, and embark on the always calm, soothing, and breathtakingly beautiful drive up to Humboldt State. Party with my homies up there for the night and crash there.

Thursday September 5: Leave Humboldt and drive up through Oregon to Oregon State University. Party with some more buddies and crash there.

Friday September 6: Complete the homage and drive up to the Gorge for three days of wild and crazy DMB action.

Monday September 9: Drive home. This would either be a 1 or 2 day journey. Just depends on who I go with and whether or not they need to be somewhere the next day or not.

It'd be nice to stop halfway on monday and come home Tuesday, seeing how the Gorge is about 16 hours of driving from my house. All that driving would be horrible by myself, but if I can get even just one person to go with me it'd be awesome. Of course the more the merrier. If there was 4 of us total, it'd be perfect! My car is big and roomy and can totally handle 4 people on a road trip, plus it's always good to be able to split up the driving, especially if we plan to do the 16 hours on monday.

So now that everyone's read my master plan, who's booking a flight into the bay area for September 4th? Anyone? Please....

Yee Haw! 360 days!

So yeah, had a really cool night on monday. I worked from 1:00 to 9:30 and when I got off met up with Danielle, Kevin, Kelly and Paola. We all went to Taco Bell and enjoyed the sumptious feast prepared for us. After that we decided it was a good time to see a movie. Danielle went home so the four of us hit the road. As we headed down Paola busted out her pipe. Nothing too unusual, Paola smoking pot is like me breathing air, or Justin listening to crappy jam-bands, it happens all the time. However, tonight was special. Kelly and I do not smoke, haven't in a while. Kevin just broke up with Danielle, so he's been doing stuff that he was never allowed to do, do he smoked. I've smoked a couple times in the past couple months, and so I decided, sure I'll smoke too. Kelly is in between with her boyfriend. He called her and said he wants to change his major and thinks he might not go back to school with her. So she was all "Fuck it, I don't even know if I have a boyfriend right now, I'll smoke! So the four of us passed the pipe around a few times as we made our way to the movie theatres. Kelly and I got REALLY stoned, like super sill, laugh at anything stoned, it was great. Kevin and Paola got pretty stoned too, but I don't think they ever caught up to Kelly and I. So we made it to the movie theatre by 11:30 only to find out that the last movie started at 10:30. Ooops. So we went over to a hotel parking lot, smoked some more and just hung out. Kevin and Paola went over to the nearby eatery to find a restroom, while kelly and I sat in Kevin's fan laughing non-stop for a good 15 minutes. We then headed to a Safeway and discovered Chewy Chips-Ahoy were buy one, get one free. We went through one package in like 7 seconds, it was amazing. Over all it was just a great night. Everyone had a really good time, and it was nice hanging out. I don't think I'm gonna start smoking like I used to, but every once and a while is ok. =)

Only 362 days till Vegas! Yeah boyyyeeeeee!

Had a really good weekend, nice a busy, just how I like it!

Thursday: Went to the Rainforest Cafe in San Francisco with 11 friends. It was NNN's last night in the bay area, after dinner we went to Sarah and Jessica's and hung out with the homies. After that I went back to Nate's and hung with him a bit more then went ome and went to bed.

Friday: Worked, came home and had dinner and cake with the family. After cake I met up with Paola and Sarah. Just then Brent called me up, he had just picked up his girlfriend from the trainstation and wanted to party with me. He met us at Safeway and we got a couple cases of Coors Light, then headed up to the city to my friend Danielle's appartment. I drank a lot of beer. It was weid cause I totally had planned on not drinking, but everyone insisted we party for my birthday, so I complied.

Saturday: Woked, then went and saw a play up in SF. It was actually 8 short plays, some of which featured Kevin's cousin, which was why we went. Some of them were really good, definately worth the 15 bucks. His cousin was kind of cute too. When we got back in the car, Kevin asked me if I thought she was cute, I told him yes and he told me how kinky and crazy she gets and that he'd hook me up. But the way he described her, I got scared. After leaving the city we dropped off Danielle and went to Denny's and hung out. Sarah went home after Denny's. By this time it was like 1:30 in the morning, Kevin, Kelly and Paola decided it was a good time to go the beach. We drove over to Half Moon Bay and walked along the beach. We found a nice place and sat down. We all talked and had a good time, Kevin and I smoked some cheap cigars, it was nice and relaxing. Got home around 4:00am

Sunday: Got called in to work early, but I didn't mind. Two extra hours on a sunday means an extra 31 bucks on Friday's paycheck! After work I headed over to the east bay and had some band practice. We wrote a new song on wednesday and tonight it was sounding pretty good, by next week it should be nice a tight!

So I think I should let everyone know that K-Mart has Joe Boxers now! Joe Boxer makes the most comfy boxers and before they were anywhere from 15 to 20 bucks a pair at Macy's. Now I can get them anywhere from 5 to 8 bucks a pair at K-Mart! HELL YA! I'm wearing some blue ones with pigs on them. The pigs' butts are on fire, and the words "who's cooking bacon?" are printed on them. They're damn cool. Guys, if you don't have any Joe Boxer boxers, get some! Ladies, buy some for your man.

And with that, I'm outta here...
