So, here it is, nearly two weeks since I've last blogged. Where does the time go? Things have been really busy, but it's ok, I've come to the conclusion that I thrive on chaos, and that I need something constantly going on. I've not had a free moment in so long, I can hardly remember.
Today wraps up the second week in my new quarter, and so far it hasn't been half bad. I'm taking two history classes, a speech class and cultural anthropology. Along with school, I've been working a lot. Since we got approved for the house, we had to put down a security deposit, and pay a partial on the months rent, and then rent for may is due on the first. So I've not had as much money as I used to. Which is good in a way, cause at least now I'm not wasting my money on stuff I don't really need. I told my boss if there were any extra hours available to let me know, cause I need the extra money, so I've been busting out 38 hour work weeks the past three weeks or so. It's been busy, but it'll be nice to have some extra cash. Plus the more hours I work, the closer I reach my 800 hour mark, which means another raise, woo hoo!
A special message to Lani - I got your message, it's still on my phone. Thank you so much! I listen to it like every 4 days or so, it's awesome.
Speaking of DMB, cannot wait for Gorge. I've decided that I'm driving up there. I'll come home from Vegas on August 3, then drive up to Eureka (my house) on eiher the 4th or the 5th, then head up to Washington. Costco has a big ass 10 person multi-room tent, I think I'm gonna pick it up next month. Not that my tent last year didn't kick ass (The ETZ: Errogenous Tent Zone) but it would be nice to have something a bit more stable, that provides some protection. Not sure what everyone's plans are, but Heather I'm down to go in on that camp site with you, and think we should make it party central. This time, we won't have to worry about hiding beer. Oh the humanity of that incident.
I've got a class in 15 minutes, and then I'm meeting up with Bev for some burritos from Taqueria La Bamba, the best burritos in Mountain View. Mmmmmm. Hope everyone is doing well.
